Turlock Radio Control Club (TRCC) is a group of individuals who belong to the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). We build and fly a range of model aircraft including airplanes, helicopters, and quadcopters. Many of these aircraft are powered by electric motors and gasoline engines. The aircraft all range in sizes from small, such as park fliers, to giant scale aircraft that are around 1/3 scale of full size aircraft.
As a club we hold events such as our annual Lake McSwain float-fly, fun-fly's, and other events. Some of these events help us raise money that we use to donate to other non-profit organizations.
To fly at one of our fields it is required to hold a current AMA membership and be in good standing with our club. This includes, but is not limited to, an annual fee to be a club member. Youth, under the age of 18, can fly free at our field as long as they are a Youth member of the AMA.
